The Chilewich Basketweave Floor Mat combines the visual interest of traditional floor coverings with the durability of synthetic materials. The Basketweave Mat edges are self-bound, and a flexible commercial grade backing has been bonded to the back of the rugs to prevent slipping or curling and adds cushioning. Available in a wide variety of colors and sizes, made using Terrastrand vinyl yarns.

These are temperature neutral: Good for hot temps in summer and cold floors in winter. They look great; really fresh as compared to fluffy textile mats. Easy to maintain (vacuum and wipe with damp sponge. The thin profile fits with the clearance of most doors, so you can avoid trimming the door. I've used them in clients homes. Will tryin a bedroom next. Pricey, but worth it.

Chilewich

In 1997, Sandy Chilewich founded Chilewich based on her experience choosing materials for HUE legwear. Her first products were the Raybowls and Ray Tray, using stretchable, breathable mesh for produce storage. During that design process, Chilewich came across woven vinyl. Impressed by that material's durability and design versatility, Chilewich introduced her first collection of vinyl floormats, tablemats and totes in 2000.
