The Hudson Valley Barron Wall 2 Light Sconce honors Danish lighting architecture and the issue of harsh glare that came with the use of electric lighting. The solution to this problem was using layered and curved shades, the opal glass gently diffusing the illumination. The upper shades have a metal finish on the inside, with a painted black fine texture on the outside, helping to further reflect and disperse the light without causing glare.
