The Ballord Vanity Light from Maxim Lighting frames two round, open-bottomed shades on gently curved arms that meet at a rounded center plate in a clean, transitional shape. The arms can flip the shades to face up or down, adapting the fixture to different bathroom layouts. Made from steel and glass, the light lets each exposed bulb sit fully visible, casting a bright, direct glow across the mirror and surrounding wall space.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
