The Balloons Floor Lamp from Brokis takes inspiration from the rounded, tapered form of a hot air balloon, giving the contemporary design a soft, striking presence. Two glass sections join to form the shade, wrapping around a black matte metal reflector at the center for a clean contrast of translucent glass and solid metal. Its floor-standing form works naturally beside a sofa or reading chair, adding a gentle glow and an elegant presence to the space.

Brokis

Brokis was founded in 2010 by a group of glass artisans based in the Czech Republic. Though their company is young, the designers’ accumulated experience in the age-old art of Bohemian glassblowing has bolstered their portfolio with a range of quality hand-made lamps. Their lighting collections have since achieved acclaim by combining traditional, hand-blown glass with other high-quality materials, such as wood and hand-pressed metal.
