The Azumi Side Chair from Noir captures traditional Eastern design principles with its clean horizontal lines and precisely angled supports. Sungkai wood construction delivers natural strength while maintaining a distinguished profile that enhances dining areas. The seat curves gently to accommodate comfortable seating, making lengthy gatherings a pleasure rather than a chore. Unlike typical dining chairs, the two-bar backrest provides support while preserving an open, airy feel. This chair brings a sense of calm and intentionality to interior spaces, reflecting a philosophy where simplicity and purpose unite in perfect harmony.

Noir

Noir is an American furniture and lighting design company based in Gardena, CA. Founded in 2004 by Swiss native and designer Georg Bahler and Stephanie Lu, Noir produces Bahler’s designs. Each piece is hand-crafted and inspired by his European upbringing, art and furniture history, music, fashion, popular culture and mother nature. Noir’s hallmarks include the use of raw materials and solid woods when possible, atypical materials, and experimentation to create uncommon and unapologetically bold designs from the mind of Georg Bahler.
