This fan is junk for the price. The blades are made out of plastic. I was very disappointed with the poor quality and returned the product. I was even more upset that I had to pay a shipping fee to return.

It's a beautiful-looking fan,, and when it works, it's powerful, but it started having problems about three years in when sometimes it would not come on, and now when it does work, it only works on one speed.
