The Ashe Linear Suspension from Savoy House makes one want to reach their hand out as it features an organic rope design underscored by its warmth and tactile quality. Use this wide oval piece to follow the long format of a kitchen island or dining table. The oval metal framework creates a clean set of curves that gives the lamping inside room to breathe. Artisans wrap the framework with rows of rope from top to bottom. The openings between each rope give the bulbs a dramatic presence inside. These bulbs add pops of golden detail to the ropes when lit. Together the bulbs produce a filtered spread of rich illumination.

Savoy House

Savoy House's story is a remarkable journey of innovation and tradition, rooted in the 1930s in Georgia. It all began when Robert E. Lee (not the military leader) made a spontaneous decision to jump on a train, ending up in East Point, Georgia. He spent his last dime at a grocery store and bakery, not knowing that these locations would later become the cradle of Savoy House, Inc., established in 1965. Initially a lighting showroom in Atlanta, founded by Robert and his son, Savoy House evolved from importing fixtures and assembling them in-house to becoming a renowned name in the lighting industry. Now based in Duluth, Georgia, the company has expanded into an extensive network, offering a vast array of lighting solutions through its distinct brands.
