I just had these hung and they do not get bright enough and they don't dim... style is pretty but not good lighting

I had three of these installed over the raised counter where we usually eat. I like them however the cords are a fabric and are not smooth and rigid like metal sleeves would be. Also bulb arrived broken in shipment. It was replaced after I uploaded a photo to prove my claim. The bulbs are the latest trend where you see the filament and the bulb glass is tinted. We put ours on a dinner. Overall we are happy with them. I will look for extra bulbs for backup as these exact bulbs aren't readily available at local stores.
