This piece captures the sheer finesse of a basket-maker weaving strands of wicker with the permeance of steel rods. Flowing from one ring to the other, metalsmiths painstakingly shape and weld individual rods in swift diagonals. Every view of this piece is a mesh of layering steel rods that conjures an image of a multi-volume form.
