The backplate of this sconce is exactly the same saint as most standard US junction boxes. That doesn't leave any wiggle room for imperfection in drywall or mounting... the end result is not likely to be great for most people. The construction of the lamp itself also leaves something to be desired. Want to change the lightbulb? To do so, you must disassemble the full assembly and hope you don't pull a wire loose while doing so. Essentially, this is just a disappointing sconce, wouldn't bug another one, and certainly won't be purchasing from the same manufacturer again.
