The Ambit DC Ceiling Fan from Modern Fan Company offers clever cooling to inside spaces. Suspended from above via a slender stem, it sets damp-listed LED lamping inside a circular housing, accompanied by three fan-blades of precisely-crafted and injection molded ABS that whirl around its sides. A control with a reverse switch makes changing direction a breeze, while the aggressive pitch of the blades offers outstanding air movement around the fixture.

Very well designed fan, quiet and adequate instillation process. Fan blades are plastic, looks okay from the room though.

Modern Fan Company

The Modern Fan Company was founded in 1997 by industrial designer Ron Rezek in Ashland, Oregon. It was the first (and to this day, only) company of its kind: a designer and manufacturer of contemporary ceiling fans. It was established based on the overwhelming success of Rezek's 1986 design of the Stratos Ceiling Fan, which did away with all ornate brass scrollwork and blade irons standard up until that time.
