With its versatile form, the Ambiance Cylinder Downlight Wall Sconce by Justice Design Group was designed to fit in and illuminate all kinds of modern settings. The shade is a simple half-cylindrical curve molded by hand out of smooth Ceramic. It can either appear to blend into the wall onto which it’s mounted or be made to stand out, whatever an interior design may require. From there, the versatility of this wall sconce extends to its functionality and the direction of the light it projects, as a variety of opening choices allows for just the right wash of light throughout a space.

I bought these thinking they were white, not ceramic that needed painted. Aside from having to spray paint them ourselves and that extra step, they are a great size, shape and the up & down lights look great.

Nice light that blends into the wall

The light looks great. It was super-easy to install myself. My only complaint is that I hung it at 7' at the entrance to a stairwell, and you can see the "guts" from the bottom as you walk by when it's turned off. A salesperson suggested I do this light instead of the justice metro sconce because he thought I would be able to see the bulb at the top of the metro while walking down the stairs, and he was probably right, so.... No bulb to see now, just "guts". Anyway, I still love it. The light pattern on the wall is beautiful. I painted it with the same wall paint (I used satin paint through a sprayer), and that looks fantastic. Kinda disappears in the daytime, and glows nicely at night.

Simple soft wall light

Put this in a stairwell and love the soft, lightvfrom top and bottom especially through the perforations. Easy to install and great on a dimmer.
