Made in China
For impressive tabletop style and wine aeration, start with the Blomus ALPHA Decanter. The spout performs double duty by first allowing wine to be poured in freely and breathe in the wide-bottomed glass vessel. Then a screen in the spout filters out any sediment when the wine is poured back out. A trough for the thumb is molded into the glass for a safe grip and comfortable pour.

Attractive, but Fragile

I used this decanter for the first time last night. The top is easily unassembled, however it is tricky to put back together. Aligning the interior pout with the screen is no easy task. It is a pretty piece to have on the table vs a wine bottle, but very fragile.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
