Key Features
The AJ7 Bellevue Floor Lamp by &Tradition blends sculptural simplicity with a Bauhaus-influenced design by architect Arne Jacobsen. Named for some of his earlier architectural accomplishments, the Bellevue Theatre and Bellevue Petrol Station, this design was crafted in 1929 with a 45-degree shade that has become a signature element throughout many of Jacobsen’s designs. A graceful cohesion of classic craftsmanship and clean lines that capture Danish Modernism, the shade of this floor lamp is artfully spun from a single piece of metal. With a less-is-more mindset, this ever-contemporary design is tailored and elegant.
&Tradition aims to bridge the values of solid handicraft to contemporary design. Their collection not only covers iconic designs and undiscovered gems from the masters of yesterday, but it also features new works from leading designers of today and from the talent of tomorrow. Formally known as Unique Copenhagen, &Tradition encourages the creation of what may become the classics of the future.
