This is a great reading lamp. It's stylish and eye-catching--definitely not a lamp to disappear into a room. The shade is a bit small; a standard sized bulb protrudes a bit out of the shade, but it's not a problem Just different from the photos. And look at the measurements carefully--this lamp has a much larger presence than you'd think from the photos. (And it comes wrapped in more packaging than you can imagine!)
