Uovo Chandelier

Evoking an ancient relic described in the pages of a fantasy epic. Translating to egg in Italian, the Uovo Chandelier from Lasvit amazes with as a functional sculpture, whose delicate, sparkling shapes give it the appearance of descending from the sky. Designer Rony Plesl creates pieces that are high in emotion and tell a story. Plesl’s background as a stone sculptor shows in the individuality of each floating glass gem. Glass artists shape the gems like an egg and give them a mirror-like finish. The mirrored surface displays the colors and shapes of the room for a cohesive look. Light rains down on the glass eggs from the canopy, creating a magical silhouette with glittering notes. This bright image creates a uniform aura of ambient illumination.
