The Anglepoise Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp scales down the original 1950s design, adapting the same mechanics and light efficacy in to a more convenient size for smaller spaces. The aluminum shade is crisp, yet smooth—emblematic of mid-century modern aesthetics—and sits atop the familiar jointed structure. Easy assembly, easy adjustability, solid construction. Slate color has nice matte effect that matches office. Workers at yLighting were responsive and helped me get this package over the xmas rush. Thanks.

Nice size for a 4' desk with computer monitor.

Matte white finish is attractive. Unique design. The Mini only takes a 40 watt bulb, but I have others lights that supplement this, so I just use this as a task light-it is still quite bright. Put in an led bulb (candelabra base/E12).

Very Nice Desk Lamp

I purchased this desk lamp after seeing how nice it was in a neighbor's house. The first lamp sent had fine scratches on the base. YLighting promptly sent a replacement. The replacement arrived without blemishes. The lamp provides adequate light for a 24x48 desk (it doesn't come with light bulb though). It seems to be a quality-built product. The base is heavy providing a stable anchor for the arms, which move very smoothly. I highly recommend this lamp.

Perfect for a small home office

It's a bit smaller than its larger cousin, but perfect for a small home office and doesn't overwhelm a 4' desk with its small footprint. The black finish is beautiful and the fixture itself was easy to assemble with a lot of options for adjustability.

Fun, affordable task lamp

I bought two as bedside lamps. The esthetic is slightly industrial, with a quirky little pop of fun. The bulb is low wattage, but given this is a task lamp and its being used for night time reading it works fine.
