Based on the award-winning 1987 design but with modern performance and engineering updates. The Tolomeo Swingarm Wall Sconce from Artemide delivers an excellent adjustable task light. It was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, and they sought to create a product that could accommodate a variety of lighting needs, from homes and offices to film and photographic sets. The Tolomeo Classic Wall Lamp can adjust at five different points to accomplish this task.

I have liked Tolomeo going back a few years. While it is very nice in silver, it looks great in black. The drama added by the color is worth the extra $.

We've had these lamps in our architecture office for several years and just moved into a new location, where we purchased more for our added desk space. These are great for the price. Stylish, sleek and functional. The cable detailing on the arm is aesthetically pleasing. This fixture tucks off to the side nicely, so much so that you barely notice it's there. The output is surprisingly bright -- I did not expect so, with the size of the lamp head (~5" diameter at the widest point), but it really illuminates the entire desk space; allowing for easy large scale format plan reviews. Would definitely recommend.
