Very high quality. Everything on the fan except the blades is made of some type of steel or aluminum cast material. Obviously for safety reasons the blades are made of plastic. The fan is inaudible and silent at all speeds except maybe once you start to reach 4 out of 6 for speed or higher but it's not motor noise it's just the sound air being pushed. The lowest speed is crazy slow and perfect if you just want to move air without feeling cold. If you want to unlock the full functionality of the fan you have to download the app. The app has a wind mode that randomly changes the speed, you can set timers, schedules (ie: turn on at 8pm and off at 6am monday to friday or whatever). The light is also very nice. On the lowest setting I can turn the light on at night from a pitch dark room and not hurt my eyes and is very bright at max.

Love it - But no in-wall control included

I really like this fan. It fits well with my decor, is well made, and functions perfectly. The control that mounts inside the wall is NOT included. Instead, a remote is included that can be mounted on the wall. If I had known that I would have ordered the in-wall control when I ordered the fan. If an old light switch is used to power the fan, there is a delay when the light switch is turned on. So you'll probably want to leave the old light switch on and use the remote to operate the fan--or replace the old light switch with the in wall control (part number: F-WC-WT),

Nice Esthetics, Powerful, Yet Quiet

This is our fifth Modern Forms ceiling fan in our house. The setup is pretty quick and easy. We like the simple aesthetics and the flush mount goes well with our lower ceiling height in the garage addition. Just remember that you have to buy a separate wall switch if you want to control it from the wall. Otherwise, the remote that comes with the fan will work. It has a dedicated app that allows you to remotely control all the fans through WiFi.
