The Tip LED Wall Sconce from Muuto is a refined piece created with a reductive approach synonymous with the Scandinavian tradition. For designer Jens Fager, being straightforward and simple to use is at the forefront of his designs. Fager strips down ideas to their essential purpose while keeping a bit of humor and poetry. The Tip underlines this process in a clean and archetypal look that instantly relays its function. To enhance every form and detail, Fager crafts the piece with a smooth, powder-coated aluminum. Suggesting the name of the sconce, the head subtly “tips” backward with rotating capabilities underlining its versatility. Capped with an opal diffuser, the tapered head lets out a glare-free steam of task or ambient lighting.
