This light is great. The design is subtle and discrete, (especially in white) if you want something which looks very nice but does not scream out "look at me!" Also, it looks good from all angles and from the side. Many sconces look best only from the front, and some have harsh glare if the room design dictates that the sconces are also viewed from the side. This is a well made design classic which will not look outdated next year. 150v is a lot of light - a dimmer gives optimum control here. One note regarding polished chrome: I saw an example in a lighting store - the polished chrome wall plate did not seem well finished at the edges, a condition highlighted when the fixture is on which did not look very nice. This is not the case with painted finishes and may not be true for all polished chrome either - just an observation.

This is a powerful small light that kicks off a lot beams. One of it's greatest benefits is that you get light from the top and bottom, so it works particularly well in a room that does not have any natural light. Wonderful in any decor.

We used two of these lights in our stairwell at eye level on the top floor. Their up and down lighting casts a wonderful light toward the stairs as well as the ceiling and sky light. They are elegant without being obtrusive.

This is the second bathroom we've installed the talo mini in. Gives off good light. The chrome one is awesome when installed directly on the mirror.
