In "Terminator 2," the villain, T-1000, morphs into a solid entity out of pools of liquid mercury. The Alessi T-1000 Spoon Rest captures that moment when the pools meet. But instead of doing evil, T-1000 has become a great help in the kitchen. It is made out of stainless steel, with two slightly concave surfaces to place cooking utensils and keep surrounding surfaces clean.

Alessi, known as the Italian design factory, has manufactured household products since 1921. The stylish and fun items offered are the result of contemporary partnerships with some of the world's best designers of unique and modern home accessories.
