I posted the previous review, my previous order #'s L1551518 placed on 7/2022, second order #L1813577 placed on 7/2023. The first order is the fan that has completely stopped working. The second order is the fan in the bedroom that it's remote has stopped working, but is working because it is on a light switch. I used a different email on my previous review- and I did review the fan the first time using Lizzy672.

While I intially loved the Stout ceiling fan, after 3 years, it started to make clicking sound on #2 speed, and on the 3rd speed it wobbles so much it was scary to be underneath it. The weather has turned cool in the mornings, so we turned it off, and it will not work again, we were informed from our electrician that it is dead. So now we have to purchase a brand new fan, not very happy about it. As we have a second Stout fan in our bedroom, we are reluctant to turn it off, but we do have an idea that it is also having issues because the remote stopped working, even after changing the batteries in the remote, the only way to turn it off is via the light switch.

I use this fan every day. My new home is decorated in gold, white and navy blue and this fan fit in perfectly! I love that it's so quiet. My handyman said it was one of the nicest fans he has ever installed.

Quiet, great for angled ceiling
I purchased this fan in August, for my new home, which has angled ceilings. There was no ceiling fan in the living room, and I chose the Minka Aire Stout, because it had a remote control, which worked much better than having a pull chain on an angled ceiling. It has a light which is pretty bright I have only used it once. I have a different fan in the dining room, which makes me think I will need to replace it with another Minka Aire Stout.
