An elegant, artistic fixture that is well-suited to modern spaces. The Italian-made Nest 501 Mini Pendant from Metal Lux descends from a metal disc canopy via a slender cable that terminates in a downward-facing single-socket lamp. The light is set inside an oval shade of translucent glass with vertical, linear accents and a small circular bay at its base. This shade structure artfully restricts direct light from the lamping, exchanging glare for a soft, even wash of ambient light accentuated by a small splash of direct downlight.
