Nelson Night Clock

This is the best looking clock out there. It adds sophistication to any room.

l like the outward design and materials of the clock, but the actual mechanics on the inside is just a cheap clock.

Everyone just raves about my new clock. Even though it's just a little thing it's one of the first thing people notice when they come into the room.

I waited and wanted. For a long time. After first discovering the Night Clock by George Nelson I stared at it on Pinterest boards and in my imagination as I began refurnishing my apartment. I hesitated only because of the price, but then gave in. And I'm delighted I did. This is an elegant and beautiful piece that manages to coalesce the black and white and red and brass already at play in my living room. While it's perfect as a bedside clock, I imagined it nestled into the first self of my media center and it turned out perfect there. Easy to read from across the room, it's 100% functional as a time piece, Sleek and sophisticated it is 100% beautiful as a piece of design. Authentically representing the golden age of mid-century modern, it is 100% pleasing as a time capsule. I have no regrets. The materials are weighty, solid, and refined. The build is excellent. The appearance, exactly as portrayed. I'm thrilled with my Night Clock. And the waiting and glancing at my bank account only makes me savor it more now that I have it in my home.

Just make sure you have a clock that has an inner piece that works...Vitra had to send out a new inner mechanism but I hope I can dismantle the old and put in the new....
