Malen Semi-Flushmount

High quality fixture that is a perfect for our living room. Give off lots of light without being to bright or overbearing. Was relatively easy to install and took about 45 minutes from start to finish (would have been easier if I had another set of hands). Looks great and definitely enhances the room

Well designed ceiling fixture a snap to assemble and install. The eight candelabra bulbs offer excellent lighting for a foyer, hallway or room. Metal fixture body well engineered with excellent finish. Fabric shade has an appropriate snug fit to the frame. Completed, installed fixture is fashionable and modern while providing functional lighting to any indoor application. Packaging - Well protected with cardboard for fixture and shade. Additional cardboard reinforcement on all side protects from damage in transit. All fixture components and shade are packed in plastic packaging to protect against smudges and moisture. Instructions - Pictogram well detailed along with step by step installation instructions. Easy to follow for quick assembly of components and installation. Provided in multiple languages. Assembly - The outlet box mounting plate (referred to a mounting strap in instructions) is pre-threaded with the fixture mounting screws for easy alignment with the fixture canopy. Mounting knobs are easily applied and tightened to complete the installation of the fixture to the outlet box. Wiring - More than ample length of three wires to connect to supply side in the outlet box. Wire nuts included. Installation - This semi flush fixture did not have a mounting cable that allows a one person installation. Other Kichler fixtures that I have installed did have the cable. This was a two person installation completed in 15 minutes. Very easy to install and tighten mounting knobs for a snug fit to the ceiling. - The fixture consists of two components that are twisted together on the threaded main cable conduit. Overall Impression - Excellent finish on the metal components, all well protected in shipment packaging to avoid scratches or nicks. - Fixture design is elegant; construction exhibits tight fitting components for a very integrated look of the finished product. - Light Sockets (8) offer great lighting for any application. The photos attached are on a 9' ceiling foyer which is bathed in light with the 25w bulbs. - Components are well fitting and have a sleek finished look upon assembly -Shade is well constructed providing a warm glow thought the white fabric. A great unit!

Had a few hiccups so I have to wait a bit to get this installed, but I cannot wait to see it in place in my dining room. I have generally gravitated towards Kichler products as they've always been excellent quality. This Malen fixture is no exception. From the white fabric shade to the champagne bronze metal, this is certainly a quality light fixture. The lights are dimmable, so it will be perfect for those candle lit dinners. Very elegant, yet timeless feel, I have already received compliments and its not even hung.

This light was absolutely gorgeous! Installation was a breeze and hooking it up was super simple. The construction of the light fixture itself is really great quality. It added the perfect amount of class and style to my room.

It is so beautiful, a sleek design and very eye catching. When your company is walking into your room their focus go automatically to this beautiful light. Malen was inspired by the notion of the lights holding and resting, as its shade rests comfortably into the light. The Malen semi-flush is sheer perfection. Its fabric shade settles into on-trend champagne bronze metal uprights. Its open view from below keeps the bulbs subtly visible as they illuminate your space. The white fabric drum combines both trendy and timeless.This light is perfect in our spare bedroom. Installation took about an hour, I'm very happy with this light!
