The glass dissolved in three years

Submitted 7 years ago

By Heartbroken in Brooklyn

From Undisclosed

I was heartbroken. At about three years, the corners of two of three glass globes dissolved and cracks appeared in the globes. Artemide said that was our problem. It was shocking to me that a reportedly high quality fixture would fall apart so quickly and the manufacturer would not stand behind its product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Artemide

Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
