Leaf LED Floor Lamp

Love this beautiful, modern lamp! It's simultaneously eye-catching and understated. Looks great in a scandinavian, modern, or vintage modern decor.

I think the lamp looks great. The head of the lamp was initially really loose and wouldn't stay put. This was concerning until I RFTM'ed and read about a little hex bolt you can tighten. The pack that comes with the lamp even includes the hex wrench to do this, which was great. The lighting output could be a little stronger, thus the 4 star rating. I know it's a reading lamp and functions well enough in that capacity, but the room has to be fairly dark to really get pages to stand out when reading. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the lamp and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, non-obtrusive reading lamp.

I like the Muuto Leaf design and the powder coating is nice (I bought white). However, there are few drawbacks: lighting isn't as strong as I would've liked for reading, prouduct is made in China, not Denmark as advertised, lighting not dimmable even though manual says it's do-able by tapping the on/off button. I would return this except my husband threw out the packaging.

I liked the Leaf for it's form, however, the Leaf has its drawbacks. It is not as adjustable as some other floor lamps as the height is fixed and it doesn't articulate. The LED face fills the underside of the lamp. Sitting in a lounge chair and using the lamp to read the light is uncomfortable in one's eyes so one has to angle it away, so if one is reading, one almost has to angle the light away from the material. The surface material appears to be powder coated. While the lamp is well made, the finish doesn't really project quality. If one can deal with the drawbacks and loves the form, go for it.
