I love this shade - it is more beautiful than the picture. It catches everyone's attention.

I looked at hundreds of pendant lights both online and in person at lighting stores, and I finally settled on this LC Shutters Pendant Light -- I loved the video of how the fixture is made in Denmark! When I opened the box, I was thrilled at how it looked in-person! It is spectacular, and so well made!!! I will have 2 of them over my kitchen island, and it's going to be a main focal point in my new house. The light looks phenomenal when it is lit with the light coming through the cut-outs. It truly is a beautiful fixture!

This light lends itself nicely to different design styles. The matte white and geometric pattern feels modern but there is enough whimsy for this light to feel at home in a more traditional setting. There is a cover over the bulb so the light cast downward is softened. This is still a directional light though, 90% of the output is downwards. That last 10% though...that's where this light shines. The entire fixture has a warm glow that becomes a part of the decor. Even when we aren't using this light we leave it on because it looks so nice. Very well made and easy to install. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a light that doubles as a point of interest.
