Hibiscus LED Mini Pendant

The pendants are beautiful.

My wife likes the look of these lights, and if you buy these as solely a decorative piece, you wouldn't be disappointed. That being said, if you want them to also function as a pendant light, I think you should find something else. The light it produces is scattered as you would guess with the design, and not all that bright. It does cast some interesting light patterns, but I don't believe that's what a pendant light's job is... The crystal is a lot heavier than you would expect, and fortunately, you don't need to hold it up while you install it. However, it is super annoying to install the darn thing regardless. The housing isn't that big and you need to tuck in a fair bit of slack for the lowered string if you ceiling isn't insanely high. I have 10' ceilings and I had to coil so much slack in that tiny housing. Don't even bother trying to stuff it into the junction box it's mounted to, since you'll need to reserve that space for the electrical wire's slack. The worse part of it all is that the mounting hardware so so finicky that it's incredibly difficult to seat it just right to mount it properly. Although you can install this alone, I think you should grab a second person to at least hold it up for you during mounting while your arms rest a bit as you inevitably curse your wife's choice in lights. Looks nice at least. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend because I would not want my friend to go through the same mounting nightmare I went through.
