The Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman's modern design was crafted by Charles and Ray Eames and remains one of the most significant and enduring designs of the 20th century. Handcrafted and hand-assembled, Eames features 7-ply veneer shells, cushions which are individually upholstered, and die-cast aluminum back braces and bases. It is available in a variety of plush leather upholstery options and natural or oiled wood veneers, completing its legendary appearance.

We purchased this chair in MCL leather w/ the Palisander Veneer from Y Living during the annual Herman Miller sale and it was delivered a week early. We were a little apprehensive about purchasing this chair online, but after a designer friend told us she purchased from Y Living all of the time and had nothing but good things to say we went for it and are nothing but pleased with our decision! No Tax or shipping fee! On such an expensive item that really adds up!

The Eames Chair exudes true quality. It is simply the most comfortable and stylish piece of furniture you'll likely find, anywhere. I freely admit it is expensive, but I assure you, it's worth it. It's just one of those possessions those you leave behind will treasure, and after owning one, it's easy to understand why. Packaging from Herman Miller was refreshingly secure and compact. No damage to report!
