After trying a few LCD bulbs, I settled on 2700K, 300 lumen ones that give a very pleasant soft and warm light - pretty and very sufficient to light the area at night. It is a little challenging to install a relatively wide bulb - I settled for a candle-shape. Installation was straight forward.

I would like glass to screw into something like a rubber gasket, as it doesn't feel secure when installing it (though I don't think it will fall out). Otherwise, installation was straight forward.
