I bought 2 of these chairs for my den and I am very happy with them. They are incredibly comfortable and great looking in a casual way. Both my tall husband and my shorter kids both like they way they feel. The leather is distressed and warm but the outer "shell" of the chair provides enough structure that they are streamlined and modern while still comfortable. I like their shorter profile as I didn't want them to wall off the room and I appreciate that they are good looking from the back since they are exposed.
