The Buoy Double Cone LED Pendant from Bomma features Václav Mlynár's exploration of navigation markers that guide sailors through day and night. The Creative Director designed hand-blown crystal forms with light rods running through their cores, creating a sculptural quality that blurs the line between functional fixture and art object. The diamond-shaped mouth-blown crystal body is held by a steel frame, with illumination passing vertically through the transparent glass. Mlynár describes the collection as seeking a balance between traditional lighting and light sculpture.
