Bottle Grinder, Set of 2

Beautiful product with stunning design, but the delivery took much longer than promised.

The size and weight of these are perfect. The grinding mechanism works really well and is easy to adjust. I love the feeling of the material on the outside, but it's very hard to clean. The first time we used them someone with oil on their hands made marks on them that won't seem to come off.

I was deliberating a fair bit between the big and small bottle grinders. The small ones are quite large still, so I'm glad I went with these. They're about the size of a beer bottle each, but slightly girthier at the bottom and with a much bigger neck. I was confused also about the materials, since it's described in places as being ceramic. To be clear, the bottle material is sort of a rubberized plastic, the knob in the neck of the bottle is wood, and the grinding mechanism itself (which you will never see unless you open it) is ceramic. I wish the bottle material itself was ceramic. The grinding action is excellent, but the adjustability on grind fineness is poor. Capacity is very large, they hold a ton of salt+pepper. The surface of the bottles themselves feels good, but it feels like it would scuff/scratch badly if dropped on a hard surface, and would collect skin oil and eventually become shiny.

I don't eat much salt but this grinder is really great for pepper. No batteries needed. Course grind adjustment. It is just what I like and the Stainless stays clean.

Forget the electric grinders - these do a great job and function very well
