Hayon’s work blurs the lines between art, decoration, and design. His background as a ceramicist shows in the table lamp’s personality-rich shapes. The stalk of the mushroom is illustrated with pure geometry as a base and body. The base provides a USB port for easy charging and wireless performance, underscoring Hayon’s prioritization of versatility. On the body, a brass dimmer gives the functional element a charming and sophisticated note. The polycarbonate shade delights in its familiar curve and sculptural edge.
