Nice design, poor quality control

Purchased the fan via Lumens. Good customer services and simple transaction. Website was not updated to show actual shipping time. Fan arrived and install was easy. The reason for the low score is the fact that I have to replace the fan. The central motor has a defect and the remote receiver unit also is not working correctly. When I contacted Lumens they do not provide technical support but they did provide the manufacturer information. Manufacturer was easy to contact and helpful but very informal (no case number, etc.). They are shipping me a new unit at no cost but we will have to see if they cover the return shipping.

Best Ceiling Fan Ever

This is our fifth Minka Gyro fan. Left 2 in Georgia when we moved and now have three in our new Texas home. These move a lot of air and are perfect for the huge den with high ceilings here. And, folks are always commenting on their uniqueness. I have recommended the fans and Lumens to a multitude of folks - great company and great fans.
