Three Arm Floor Lamp

The Three Arm Floor Lamp comes from one of Serge Mouille’s most distinctive lines of highly expressive, yet minimal, lighting fixtures. Originally designed in 1952, this piece presented a sharp contrast to the bulkier Italian designs that were popular at the time. Crafted of lacquered aluminum, this fixture’s clean and slender lines evoke the look of a delicate stick insect in motion. Its short legs clasp onto the ground aggressively, while its three arms above are spread in every direction. Brass joints allow the bowl-shaped shades to be positioned as needed, further accentuating its animal-like character.
