Spitfire DC Smart Flushmount Ceiling Fan

Love the streamlined design that is modern and subtle. Ceiling fans make a room much more comfortable, yet they can easily overpower the room visually, especially in rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings. This model is the perfect blend of form and function in a matte white finish that blends into the ceiling, but still delivers a striking silhouette. The whisper-quiet DC motor uses significantly less power to operate the fan - 75% less electricity than comparable AC motor fans I considered. This fan came with three down rod lengths and a flush mount canopy, which is stylishly slim and not squat like some models. The total height of the fan with the flush mount option is 9.65" - considerably less than others and ideal for lower ceilings. Shipped in three boxes, arrived in pristine condition, and was easy to assemble. Installation was relatively easy, but I needed assistance in the final step to get the fan aligned, lifted, and twisted into the flush mount to lock in place. The only thing I don't love is the fan controls on the remote. Instead of six speed buttons like in older versions, it has two up/down buttons to control fan speed. While incremental control is cool, I guess, it seems like it takes 47 click to go from low to high. I appreciated the simplicity of the prior setup. #sweepstakes
