No reverse on remote

I purchased three of these fans, had them installed, and later realized the remotes do not have a reverse blade direction function despite being a feature in the fan description. Customer service checked with Fanimation, then basically informed me too bad, I'm stuck with them, and offered no solution. Standing on top of a ladder to reverse blade direction, which is under the fan canopy, is not an option for me. Very disappointed in Lumens.

Attractive buy wobbles

We purchased two of these for our living room and kitchen areas. They move a lot of air and are very attractive and quiet, but the blades on each are of uneven width (can see the difference just by holding up blades to each other), causing both to wobble at all speeds. For such a pricey fan, this is just poor craftsmaship. We have a 24" downrod on one and a 36" downrod on the other, and we had these professionally installed. Perhaps with just the 6" downrod these come with, the uneven blades wouldn't matter, but with any added length, they throw the whole thing off. Would not recommend.

Started with replacing the two ceiling fans in the living room of our beach house. loved the Spitfire ceiling fan so much that i just ordered four more for all the bedrooms.

Quiet and Stable

We had one of the spitfire fans at our previous home and bought two more for our new home based on our positive experience. We had 8ft ceilings in the master bedroom and the fan was super quiet and hugged the ceiling perfectly so it didn't look out of place. The thing I worry about most in a ceiling fan is "the wobble" and there is none of that with this fan. I bought the weathered gray blades which are very stylish. The only drawback with those is that they are rough to the touch so are a little hard to clean and remove the dust. Other than that, they are a great value for all their wonderful features and options.
