Solis Pendant Light

We purchased two of these lights; the small and the middle size for our foyer and over our stairs. They look great when lit. They are bright and make an interesting pattern on the floor and ceiling which adds character and interest in spaces that are normally bland. We would highly recommend these lights. Very cool!

I was at first skeptical that the shade material would appear cheap and that this might just be an over-priced fixture exploiting a gimmick. Upon inspection and, then installation, the pendant appears elegant and casts an amazing light that is both functional and atmospheric. Quality of materials and design is superb as is the packaging and simplicity of installation. The magnetic canopy should be standard on all fixtures. Great product. Can't wait to specify all sizes for multiple applications.

I ordered this product based on the pictures on the YLighting Web site. I was very surprised when a small box arrived with my 4 ft light fixture. I was disappointed when I 1st opened the box and saw the light fixture with the material compressed. I was afraid it would look cheap when installed. However, I persisted with the install in my entry way which is 25 feet high. The light looks absolutely great and it receives much praise from those that come to my home. The material actually looks wonderful with the light on or off and creates a nice effect on the walls. The shipping box is not that strong. Be sure to check out the lamp when you unpack. I was not careful and later found that the box must have been dropped even though it showed no signs of damage externally. The bulb was broken and the top ring support was bent so it hung crooked until I reshaped the bent section. I could have sent it back but after hanging it that high... I was not about to take it down again. Very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a tremendously attractive lamp that I saw on display at a very shiek decorating store in Toronto. I vowed to get one for my own house, and I picked the 48" shade (in silver) for the dining room. The lamp complements the high sloped ceilings and the very modern motif of a living space that is replete with many commercial and industrial accents (aluminum colums, etc.). It is nearly as eye-catching as the long stretches of Brunello granite in the nearby kitchen. It is a fantastic conversation piece that casts an exotic aura, when lit. I recommend it for any space that you really wish to jazz up!

I bought the lamp Solis White 72in high that I place in a hollow wall. Everyone who enters my house make me positive comments about her appearance.
