The South Hope Outdoor Wall Sconce from Kichler subtly simplifies the classic lantern design while providing pleasant ambient light. A rectangular backplate anchors the piece to the wall while an open frame houses a tubular glass shade made of satin etched opal glass. Absolutely perfect for my front porch !

I was needing just one light for my smaller front porch. I was looking for something rustic/farmhouse while also having clean lines and casual feel. This light rubbed bronze light is absolutely perfect from the color, style, brightness and size. I have had compliments from the delivery lady to one of my pizza delivery guys ! He actually said that his mother was looking for something like that light for her front porch and I gave him the information ! My husband laughs because I get so excited about a porch light, but I am excited that I found exactly what I was looking for and it looks great on my front porch ! I am a forever fan of Kichler products.

Cheap Quality

I bought 4 of these lights and wish I wouldn't have. They are over priced for the quality they are. The bulbs won't even fit in them correctly. They won't get tight. They just spin which makes the light flicker. I thought it was the bulb so I got different ones but still the same problem. To change the bulbs you have to take the top off which means taking out 2 tiny screws. Good luck trying not to lose them. Do not buy these!!

Super easy to install with existing electric, only downside was on our part, the existing electrical is a little high for this fixture. I love the way this fixture looks lit up, the globe just glows! Super contemporary and super durable, quality is top notch!

I love how the kichler south hope light is the first thing you see at my front door! It looks very classy and the bronze color doesn't draw too much attention. It's amazing how changing one small thing really updated the look of my house and added curb appeal.

Quality Issues with 4 of 5 lights

I've purchased Kichler indoor lamps and always had a positive experience. For the exterior of my house I ordered five of this model. Two of the globes were undersized and wouldn't fit a standard A19 bulb. One was missing the cover screw (missing 1 of 2) these are custom and they don't have service parts, had the hassle of replacing the entire fixture. The fourth item was delivered with a smashed globe.
