Reeds Single LED Floor Lamp

I've assembled this lamp several times, hoping to find that I missed something. No matter how I tighten it, the stem wobbles and slops to one side. I asked Lumens, and they said to return it. I asked Kudzco, and they said they didn't know, then transferred my call to a department that was closed.

The lamp is a single piece of metal that is pretty long, and ours was shipped in a "box" actually made of 2 boxes taped together that created an angle that seemed to be reinforced by the physical wear and tear of shipping. Upon seeing the box, sitting at a distinct sharp angle, I was convinced that the lamp must have been snapped in half. But it ended up being very noticeably bent but not snapped. It was truly shocking to receive that. I should have sent it back but instead we forced it back into shape, which seemed to mostly work. But it was very hard to do and required a lot of physical strength- and we should not have had to do that! Once straightened, the lamp is pretty attractive. We have a problem with it leaning, which looks bad, but it might be fixed by redoing the way the base is attached-it's on my to do list. With all of these issues, I would not buy it again and I really should have returned it. I didn't want to deal with the hassle.

It arrived unusable. The wiring isn't proper. The lamp is therefore unusable.

Shipping was quick and arrived in excellent condition. Do follow the installation instructions. If you do you will be quite pleased with the result.
