Tanuki GR Pendant Light

Israeli-born designer Itamar Burnstein created the Tanuki GR Pendant by Metalarte. A classic pendant design, this layered piece is constructed with an innovative mechanism that allows the intensity of illumination to be adjusted as the exterior lampshade moves vertically. Using friction, the inner lampshade will react and move in the opposite way, creating a directly projected light source or a more ambient effect. With a unique structure and beautiful sense of adaptability, this pendant was selected to be part of a permanent collection in the Design Museum Holon in Israel, a contemporary museum that challenges and inspires the design community.
