Pull Floor Lamp

The lamp is gorgeous, flexible and has received lots of compliments from friends and guests. The lamp is quite universal and fits well in my space. I appreciate the built-in dimmer and ability to raise / lower the shade for a custom height. A couple nuances: First, the cord is MUCH stiffer than I was expecting, so making the initial adjustments took much longer than I imagined before owning it. Because I wanted to have the lamp hang a bit lower, I had to loosen up the cord from the base, which required a few screws (one of which seemed stripped from the factory). Now that I've done it once and given myself enough slack, I don't imagine I'll have to do it again. Another quirk is cord doesn't fit neatly into the groove along the arm... instead, because the cord is so thick and stiff, it more rests along the groove and is held in place with tension at the top and bottom. It's hard to explain, but just expect a little more fussiness with the cord that you'd think. Finally, I am using dimmable LED bulbs from Tala and find the dimmer is at full brightness when the dimmer slider is only about half way up... ideally the slider would match the dimness level of the bulb 1:1, but maybe that would work with an incandescent bulb, not sure. Although there are a few quirks, I'm super happy with this lamp! It's beautiful and perfect for my space and needs.
