The plastic in this model has been completely re-engineered and molded out of a single piece of dyed polypropylene. It also has a matte surface (the 1959/60 original version has a glossy finish). - Avoid exposing chair to the sun for long periods as the color may change. Use a soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth for cleaning plastic. Gentle drying is recommended. For stain removal, use a mild commercially available cleaner. Never use abrasive cleaning agents such as powders or pastes, or aggressive all-purpose cleaners like alcohol, as these may damage the surface.
