A very BIG fan, with a blade span of 84 inches (a whopping 7 feet). However, the Fanimation Odyn LED Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan has a smaller side, too...an overall height of just under 18 inches. This fan puts out very little air even on high

I have a 18 ft ceiling that I had a 52" fan with a 6' rod. I needed more air so I ordered this 84" fan and changed to a 8' rod and unless you are standing directly under the fan you cannot feel the air. It seems at high speed the blades barely turn. I wish I would have never changed the 52" fan.

Gorgeous fan

This fan is absolutely gorgeous! The installation process was easy. The quality of the fan is above our expectations it looks very fancy it's just very nice. When my husband turned it on we stared at it because it was so quiet and smooth...it puts out a lot of air on the low setting. It completely changed the look of our living room.

Great for large rooms

Needed a fan for a large living room with a cathedral ceiling. Ordered this with a 3' downrod, so that the bottom of the fan is 9' from the ground (see the helpful Lumens FAQ on ceiling fans). The large bladespan meant I didn't have to install two fans. Price was great, plus the fan moves air at a rate of 11190 CFM. I've also had good experiences in the past with the reliability of Fanimation fans. The Odyn has now been installed, and it's beautiful, moves a lot of air, and is whisper quiet!

I installed this fan on a high beam ceiling with a 48" drop pole. The DC motor is completely silent and if I didn't feel the breeze I wouldn't know it was there. It comes with a remote which works well but, I would have liked to have a wired wall mount control as well. Also, I was hoping to be able to install a receiver so I could control from my Android but was told that was not yet possible with the DC motor. Anyway, I love this fan and everyone who sees it is very impressed.
