Nest 601 Pendant

The Nest 501 Pendant from Metal Lux shows harmony in its radiating glass construction like the intricately arranged twigs of the organic nest. Designer Studio Tecnico Metallux created the piece to display the process of collecting and transmitting light. The studio's work is built on the idea of balancing strong forms with proportion and materials. This pendant offers a slim suspension to accentuate the shade's plump shape. The crystalline glass globe sports radiating accents that guide the eye from top to bottom as they create soft silhouetting and a pattern of subtle highlights. The lone bulb on top uses the glass to create an ambient glow and to funnel out a mellow downlight.
