Key Features
Drawing its name from the Hebrew meaning for ‘up and down,’ the Malamata Pendant from Luceplan does just that to offer a dashing silhouette and tailored light. Studio Shulab illustrates their design ideas with purified and simple forms. This pendant starts with an understated canopy for easy placement in tight spaces. It produces a slender downrod that surprises with an elegant ball joint. This ball joint can be adjusted to create a flat arm silhouette or an angular one. Supported by a globe counterweight, a blown glass shade hangs below with a pristine surface. Whether up high or down low, this globe generates an inviting ambient aura.
Founded in 1978 by three Milanese architects, Luceplan's strategy is grounded in design, respect for the environment, and quality.
