Leucos Lighting

The Leucos Lighting Story

Founded by Eugenio Pamio in Scorze, Italy in 1962, Leucos Lighting is known for its marriage of contemporary design and old-world Venetian glass techniques. Pamio's brother, architect Roberto Pamio, and the husband-wife team Renato Toso and Noti Massari, provided the early designs, and still remain a strong part of the Leucos Lighting design team along with their children.

In 1993/4, the company was purchased by Alfonso Benedetti and then sold to the FDV Group in 2008. At that point, Leucos moved to Solzano, close to their original home. In 2015, Riccardo Condotti purchased the parent company to lead Leucos forward into its next 50 years.

Why We Love Leucos Lighting

Leucos Lighting fixtures are deeply contemporary, yet stay true to past and present traditions and techniques. Using limited metal in their designs, Leucos Lighting turns from typical Italian light fixtures and bases their collection on opal glass and quality plastics instead. All of their fixtures are thoughtfully designed and produced, and leave a strong impression of quality and craftsmanship that suits a range of interior spaces.
